During this tour, you will see all the major attractions of Split including Diocletian's Palace and the old town, UNESCO's World Heritage sites. This tour includes also the most spectacular views of Split old town and surroundings from the very best locations in the city.

First, we will visit Diocletian's Palace and the old town of Split - UNESCO world heritage site, including entrances to the most interesting sites inside the palace:

St. Domnius Cathedral - one of the oldest cathedrals in the world, with its magnificent interior - actually a small museum.

Substructure halls of Diocletian's Palace - the unique basement complex that witnesses today the original size of the palace together with the above chambers, where famous Roman emperor was enjoying his retirement days.

Temple of Jupiter / Baptistery of St. John - built inside the Palace as Diocletian considered the highest Roman god, Jupiter, to be his divine father. Later, transformed into Christian baptistery this temple became one of the best-preserved remains from the ancient period of Split.

The entrance to St. Domnius bell tower (60 meters high) can also be programmed during this tour. From the peak of the bell tower, you can enjoy a spectacular scenario over Diocletian's palace, old houses, the port of Split and nearby islands! The cost of the ticket is 7 € / person. Please note: there are lots of stairs and dizzy heights, therefore this option is not recommended to everybody.

After lunch in traditional Dalmatian "trattoria" (optional, additional cost approx. 25 € / person), we will walk to the western side of the town to enjoy the panorama of the city from a different angle (fishermen's harbour) and we will proceed to Saint Stephen's peak to enjoy some great sea views. We will reach then the peak of medieval Veli Varoš quarter to enjoy the "postcard" views of Split old town, port and surrounding area from Belvedere spot and Marjan hill. A short coffee/appetizer break with a great panorama should give us some strength before the last effort: taxi transfer to Hajduk Stadium, among the most beautiful ones in Europe. Finally, we will walk to Croatian National Theatre in the city center where our tour ends.
